You need for two people: 2 thin turkey escalopes, about 180 grams each (you can use chicken breast), salt, paprika, 200 grams of mushroom slices (you can also freeze them), 1 tablespoon of pesto, 2 tablespoons of crème fraîche, 90 grams of cheese, freshly grated. It can be mountain cheese, Gouda or Emmental, a little butter, a suitable casserole or other heat-resistant form.

And here’s how you cook escalope from turkey: Preheat the oven to 220 degrees (200 degrees for a fan oven). Wash the turkey cutlets, pat dry and season with salt and paprika. Place side by side in a pan.

Lightly salt the mushrooms and spread over the turkey escalopes. Mix the pesto, crème fraîche and cheese and spread over the turkey escalopes and mushrooms. Sprinkle pieces of butter on top.
Place the turkey escalopes in the oven on the middle shelf and bake for about a quarter of an hour. Remove from the oven, let it rest for a while – and serve!
