Ingredients for the “Green Goddess” salad.
For a popular salad (about 4 servings) you need the following ingredients:
- 1 small head of white cabbage
- 1 large cucumber
- 3 stalks of chives
- 1 bunch of onions
For refueling you will need:
- a handful of basil leaves
- about 100 g of spinach
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 shallot
- juice of 2 lemons
- 50 ml of olive oil
- 60 g of walnuts (or nuts of your choice)
- 30 g of yeast flakes
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
This is how the salad is prepared
It only takes a few steps to prepare. First, wash and cut all the ingredients for the salad as small as possible. Then place the vegetables in a large bowl.
For the dressing, place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Then season with salt and rice vinegar.
Now it remains only to pour the salad dressing, mix well – the Green Goddess is ready.
Melissa eats the salad as salsa with chips. But it is also perfect as a side dish for grilling or bread.
The salad will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to a week.
