Gardening is trendy – and for good reason: you know where your fruits and vegetables come from, and you can always prepare fresh lettuce, tomatoes, etc. without long transport routes. In addition, in times of high food prices, having your own vegetable garden is also financially beneficial – and in the best case, it is a lot of fun. At least when not only weeds flourish in the beds. Pupils of the Mindelheim Agricultural School, Department of Home Economics, learn to do this in the school garden in Memmingen.
